Looking for others as concerned as you are about protecting the planet? Following are my favorite links to organizations that promote green living, biodiversity and sustainability:

Center for Biological Diversity

The center uses conservation biology, advocacy and litigation to help protect animals and plants threatened with extinction.

Center for Ecoliteracy

The center provides grants to support education programs for sustainable living.

Clean Air Conservancy

The non-profit Clean Air Conservancy works to develop markets for greenhouse gas emission-reduction credits.

Co-op America

Co-op America promotes consumer choices that protect social justice and sustainability, supports green and fair-trade business practices, and works to fight corporate irresponsibility and build sustainable communities.

EarthWatch Institute

EarthWatch helps volunteers become involved in scientific field research and education to promote a better understanding of what it takes to create a sustainable environment.

It makes me sad that we even need living green groups. Seems as if we should realize that if we continue our non green ways that our children and grandchildren will have no green to enjoy.
